Our Mission

The inspiration for Unity Bands™ occurred back in March 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic forced U.S. state shutdowns. It was a profound moment when the streets cleared, highway signs urged people to stay at home, and office parking lots emptied. I felt that what we as a society had worked so hard for was all in jeopardy; threatened to be taken away by an invisible threat.

If you look at the tragedies of our time including natural and man-made disasters, the local communities generally rally together well. People help each other. Differences are put aside. Resources pour in. And customized images and symbols are created to unify the local community.

Even though the COVID-19 public health emergency is over, we all need to share the same hope that together, we will get through tough times. We need to fight. Those battling horrific diseases fight for their lives. Emergency services personnel fight to save their patients. Researchers fight for cures. And we must all fight by taking the proper precautions to prevent the spread of viruses.

Unity Bands™ started with our flagship product, a customized wristband with a symbol of unity; 100% of the proceeds went to healthcare workers during the pandemic. Today we host innovative fundraisers to support our healthcare heroes in need. This is now a movement; to show our support.
