Unity Bands™ is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit financially supporting the underpaid, undervalued, and essential healthcare workers and promoting credible public health information to at risk communities to help inform decision-making.
Our Support and Education efforts are accomplished in five ways: creating awareness, providing support to healthcare workers, seeking partnerships, providing credible information to at-risk communities, and strengthening our internal business.
I joined Unity Bands as an intern last year, and what stood out to me was both the mission and the lack of internal structure behind it. I stepped in to help where I could, and as the organization grew, so did my role.
I, Madison Schisler am a business management major at Goucher College, and I am passionate about developing strong marketing skills that help others, especially within mission driven organizations like Unity Bands.
We donated 21 comfortable, clinically appropriate shoes on June 22 to team members enrolled in the Diversifying Doulas Initiative cohort training in Worcester, MA, at UMass Memorial Medical Center.
Our Speakers Series is available for free to everyone. They are hosted online via Google Meet and recorded for future viewing.
Each session features an expert in a specific field and/or topic focusing on healthcare.
