So, what is the problem with healthcare workers? Doctors and nurses are well-off, right?
No!
And there are 7 million healthcare workers in the US at the low-income level including nursing home staff and phlebotomists.
According to data collected by Unity Bands from Front Line Workers, including RNs and Physicians, regarding impact from the pandemic:
●57.1% stated that there was a lack of work-life balance as well as staffing shortages
●42.9% stated that there was a lack of resources to effectively and safely perform their work
●85.7% stated that they experienced a “burnout” during the pandemic
